John Marshall, DC

Dr. John Marshall, former officer for the Orange County
Chiropractic District was born in Pennsylvania. He attended National
Chiropractic College. After graduating he worked in Michigan. Later he
moved to Fullerton, California in the 1950’s and worked there for over 40
years. He received the California Chiropractic Association Life Member
Award in 1988 after 50 years of practice.
He was very active in the Orange
County Chiropractic Association. He served as an officer, attended
meetings, carpooled with “new doctors”, and often was “photographer” at
the Orange County meetings.
He learned Spanish to better serve his
Spanish-speaking patients.
His wife, Mary, also attended meetings and
was a strong support to him.
He practiced chiropractic in his office until
he was 89 years of age and lived the chiropractic lifestyle.
He frequently
got his spine checked. He was very mindful of his diet. He was an avid
golfer, having achieved three lifetime holes-in-one, all after he turned
70. He walked 5 miles+ on work days. On his days off he played 18 holes of
golf, without a cart. He sang in his church. He enjoyed dance. He lived an
active life.
He was a proud husband, father, and grandfather.
